At the beginning of this month we went as family (or almost coz Matt stayed in Canberra) to QLD to visit family and friends.
Rob and Jess were my plane buddies and they made the flights sah enjoyable.
We stayed at the farm house we stayed at a few years ago; it's an awesome place. This is the kitchen view.
On Tuesday (we arrived on the Sunday) we drove to Bribie Island to visit Great Nan, with Ma and Poppy.
Walks on the wharf. Look at Mikey's swaggering stride!
On Thursday we went to Dreamworld with Ma.
Okay, get this - the only theme park rides I have ever been on are the tea cups (in Disney World) and the rapids. But when we went to Dream World the challenge to do actual rides was accepted - my first was The Tower of Terror.
For those who don't know what it is, you go flying backwards at 161kph, sit for no more than 10 seconds, then fly back into the alcove.
My my, Stephen Fry.
It was the best thing I have ever experienced.
After that ride my YOLO levels were intensified a hundred-fold!
The rapids!
And Log Ride!
Skadoosh (dodgem cars) became an obsession at the end of the day, when our heads were spinning and rides were less thrilling and more sickening.
On Friday we spent the day at the Huggable Hoggies!!
The Mrs. Hoggie master-piece!
Kitty and Jess. See the sign in the background? xD
Allie and I!
And the three of us, just casually being awesome and incredibly good looking.
The mummas!
Little Dais. My precious ^_^
Caleb drove us older kids to the river and even though it was cold the water was very refreshing.
Shoulder-wars dominated and here we have evidence of Alice smashing Jamie =D
Caleb and Jord kicked a stink about it but Alice and Bek were naturally thrilled. They raved about it for the rest of the day.
Haha, this looked like so much fun - they put detergent and water on the trampoline and bounced and slipped around for so long.
Doing the Emma face!
A visit to the Hoggies is never complete unless a sleep over is included!
Jord, Jamie and Me and Bek stayed the night (we watched Game of Shadows which I slept through and us girls stayed up til way after 12 talking).
The next day I slept away because I was sick so these guys did a whole heap of the exciting stuff without me *cries some*.
We didn't even get another selfie x(
BUT IT WAS HEAPS OF FUN!
We visited with relatives a lot; it was great to catch up with them!
At the Hoggies Dan jumped off the balcony to the trampoline and landed on his arm funny... he still has a brace on it.
And to finish off - Frangipani hair!
