The main reason we went was because all of the famous paintings from Paris were on display, and they are only in Canberra for a few more weeks. Some of the artworks were amazing!
One of my favourites was of a girl sitting on a chair, with her back toward you; it was called 'Rest', but I don't remember who it was by... there were so many different artists and paintings, it was hard to remember them all! Unfortunately, there were no photos on Google image of it, so you'll just have to go off my word that it was beautiful :)
This one was one of my other favourites, by Claude Monet called 'Houses of Parliament'.
And, of course, Vincent van Gogh's 'Starry Night'.
There were many, many others but these were the chief ones. Do you have a favourite Parisian painting?
