Beaded Cards

For Christmas one of the presents I received was a Beading Encyclopedia, from my Uncle and Aunt. It is full of amazing things on how to use jigs and looms, how to design earrings and necklaces, which wires are best to use, different project ideas and much more.

One of the projects that particularly took my interest was beading on to cardboard or material to use as notebook covers. I gave it a shot, using cardboard. When I was finished I had the idea of making it into a card, instead of a book cover. As it turned out, it didn't seem to be such a bad idea, so I then tried other designs out of my head. Below are the results.
The dark blue one, second from right, was the first one I tried with the pattern out of the book. The design of the brown one I stole from another card I had seen, and the pink, blue and yellow are of my own thinking.
You can see the cards alot better if you click on the photo to enlarge.
