Karli's Birthday

Yesterday was Karli's 20th birthday which you have probably read on Mum's blog. We had a lovely surprise brunch outside in the gazebo which consisted of chocolate sponge, several different varieties of sandwiches, strawberries and cream, home lemonade, tea &c.
The day was fairly relaxed, Karli listened to her new audio tape "Barchester Chronicles" whilst cross-stitching and we tidied the house and spent a whole quantity of quality time with her.
We had a candle-lit dinner out in the gazebo which was absolutely delectable and dessert which was equal in loveliness. The little ones then went to bed and we watched the '95 version of "Persuasion".
Karli said that she had a very enjoyable day.

The flowers added to the beauty.

Lily enjoyed eating the cream!

Jess tied ribbons onto the chairs, as
you see in the photo.

Candles lit.

Gathered around the birthday girl!
