Saturday Lunch Date

What a lovely day this was to spend with such lovely people!!! The T. family are good friends of ours and we always enjoy catching up with them.

These photos were all taken on our new camera, which we got for the girls' overseas trip; I have been trying it out.... it's amazing!

Introducing Bobby ♥

Today Jess accidentally got an epic hair cut.

You see, she wanted Mum to give her a 3cm trim but because her hair is so curly it bounced past her shoulders. She was okay about that, but then thought it would look better layered; so Mum layered it. Then Jess declared that it looked immensely hideous and wanted it shorter; so Mum cut it shorter. Then it was a bob. For the next 20 minutes Jess was remorseful and wanted her long hair back, but knew it was too late.

It doesn't actually look bad.... I have photos to prove :)

Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls ♥

These Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls make a light summer dinner for either a large or small gathering, with only a small amount of cooking, and no hassle involved! Simply fry the chicken, cut up the salad and boil the noodles, then put them together on your moist rice sheet, roll it, and there you have it! Simple and satisfying.




Yes, well... this one is rather un-photogenic, but you get the picture!

Double dipping isn't sanitary, so we use a spoon and pour it into to roll, as shown above ^ ^. By the way, the sauce we like is made of sweet chili sauce and soy sauce. ♥ ♥ ♥
