Tomorrow morning I will wake up and say to myself - 'I am 18.'
It won't be easy getting those words out. I'm hoping that the older I get the easier it will be to move away from the younger me. I know that there will be a time when I won't care how old I am, like when I was turning 10. I looked forward to that.
With moving up a year, life goals and expectations won't be dreams any more. They'll either pass by me or I'll sink luxuriously into them.
Last year I had thoughts of what might be in the near future - every single one of those thoughts swept by me into the misty past.
I will live in a world of nostalgia - I already do - but no matter how deep I sink into it I must remember one thing: to be happy with what I had, with what I have, and with what will come.
Every night, until I have none left, I will look at the moon and love it, for I know that it won't disappear behind me.
