Of Music

Concerning Hobbits is a beautiful piece of music - Howard Shore, the man who composed it is such a genius!! I have listened to that YouTube clip so much that the 'replay' must be worn out from being hit so often. The beginning instrument is an Irish whistle (Tin whistle, Penny whistle and Irish flute are some of the other names for it) and I was so inspired after listening to the solos that I went on eBay searching for Irish whistles, and I found one.... well, actually I found two. Plus a book of tunes.

I bid on it and after a small amount of conflict with another bidder I won. I won two Irish whistles and a book if tunes for a very reasonable amount.

Jamie wanted to learn too, so that we can do duets once we are able. His is the green one, going down to a C and mine is the red, going down to B flat.
My first eBay purchase was successful = happiness!

Ooh, that's a cool idea to learn the Irish whistle! It certainly is a beautiful instrument, and *perfect* for Concerning Hobbits. :)

Blessings,

Looks like you'll be having some fun with those!

Isn't it exciting winning something on ebay too! You feel so proud of yourself. (Or is that just me??! Smiles)
