Let the Renovations begin...

Dad has begun to renovate our bathroom. Well, it's actually our laundry as well as the bathroom and an adjoining bedroom. We didn't use the bedroom to sleep in, it was more of a storage room, and now we have to find somewhere to put all of that stuff.

Eventually we will have a bigger bathroom and laundry, but no storage room. All the contents of the storage room are now in the kitchen and dining area, creating a lot of mess!

It's not a new experience for us(considering we extended our kitchen only two years ago) so we were all prepared for the noise, dust (and the little boys who are constantly covered in it), and late working hours that come with it.

Here are some photos that I took of Robert, Daniel, and Jordan knocking down the walls.

This one is hard to see, but there is flying debris everywhere and Jordan's face shows just how much of an effort he was putting into smashing that wall down!

While the boys are working away Lily gets "married" with a medieval head-piece. So cute!

If you're going to do hard work you might as well look cool while you're at it :P

Wow man..... have we been through that or what?! Our WHOLE house looked like that for almost three years ( though of course you couldn't IMAGINE that now..Hehahah!)
But yeah, I know the feeling living in a mess, the excitement of bashing walls down, the dirt and dust that builds up on furniture, the impatience you feel after two weeks of it, and forever tripping over box's and junk, and how much your family must pull together for it to run more or less smoothly.

Ah the experience of living through renovations...what would we do with out them?! *chuckles* :D

I hope it all go's smoothly and turns out well and doesn't take to long. :)

Love ya,

Madd :D

Oh, yeah! I know EXACTLY what that's like! We completely remodeled our house here in Romania for over a year. The before and after pictures are unbelievable. LOL:P

Wow, so your started. I can't wait to see the progress. I bet it must be hard to live in a place that looks like bombs are hitting it all the time. Hopefully it won't take to long to get it finished.
