Crazy Earrings

A little while ago we had some friends stay, and one of their girls wore a pair of earrings that was made of assorted beads in various colours. Jess suggested I give it a shot with the beads I have and... today I did it!
They are hoops, with blue, pink, white, green, orange and yellow beads that come in various shapes and sizes. Jess and Beka have already offered to pay me more than the usual price for them. I think I might end up making more than just a few pairs!

Cool Rach! I once made some like that, but I didn't like how they were fastend, It made them really hard to get on. Your's look like the ones I've looked for :) Keep It up! :)

I have some earrings like that! (And Madd didn't make them either. I was given them.)

Rachael, how come the Blogger banner along the top of your blog is grey, not the usual blue and orange? How'd you do that - or is it part of the backgound? I ask, because I'd love to make the banner blend in above our blog. It's ugly! (The banner, that it, not our blog - though I s'pose that's a subjective opinion!)

Do you mean the part where it says "sign in" ect? It's not part of the background, or layout. My layout is the same as yours. Now let's see...I'll have to go back to once again discover where I found it originally :P....

....Ah, yes! Found it! If you go to your dashboard and then to edit layout/page elements, above where it says your blog name there is the navbar and a little 'edit'. It gives you a few different ones to chose form ~ hope this helps!
btw, I tried to enter the code for different fonts/colours for my blog title and they were all just as bad as my present one. So I think I'll just stick with what I've got :P Thanx anyway!
luv,
Rach

Brilliant!! Thank you so much :) It blends in heaps better now. Not perfect (a bit darker would be ideal), but much preferable to what it was. (I can't believe I missed that option! There I was, head first into the Template, trying to adjust xhtml, when all I had to to was click a couple links :s)

Sorry to hear about the colours not working. I thought perhaps you'd managed to change it slightly, as I seemed to be able to read it more clearly - I guess I was imagining things. I admit I had to spent quite some time fiddling around, change>preview, change>preview and so on, for ages, one number at a time.

Thanks again.

Those are so pretty, Rachel! I've been wanting to make some earrings like that for my mom because she loves hoop earrings in that style, but I haven't been able to find any hoop findings from the places I order. Hmmm...
