Bloggy Taggy

Heyo people, Sarah at Isla Creations awarded me a bloggy tag which I thought would be fun to answer to =)

The Rules:

2. Post 11 random things about yourself (but I'm gonna be nice and change that to 8 ;] 11 is killing me...)

11 Random things about me:

~Brisbane is my very very favorite place to be ^_^

~I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. Saves and ruins lives =P

~I don't enjoy blogging all that much, but do it for two reasons: 1). I hate leaving my poor girl so lonely & 2). I love posting photos wherever I can.

~I trim my own hair. Big money saver!

~I've been doing uni (correspondence and now campus) since 2009

~This April will mark my first year with Koorong

~I've never done an exam before - but will be this year =O

~I love being behind a camera, but don't usually like being in front

~I don't like when people use the word 'hate'. It doesn't actually mean what you think it means, otherwise you wouldn't use it in that context. It's more powerful than you think

~No matter how many times I watch them, Blimey Cow videos makes me laugh incredibly hard! Especially this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Iv62bxFTW0

~I had one last thing to say and forgot it. Hmm. Oh well. xP

1. What would you prefer to live on, Mars or Earth?

Which do I prefer to live on... well, I've never lived on Mars so earth it is!

2. What do you enjoy most about blogging?

Sharing photos ^_^

3. Do you love licorice as much as I do? (Which is heaps!)

I dislike licorice as much as I dislike the word 'hate'. Very strongly.

4.What's your favourite movie?

Lord of the Rings, all three of 'em =D

6. Have you ever worn a wig in public? ;)

... no

7. On average, how many books do you read each year?

Used to be about 180 novels. Now I'm lucky to complete 10 of any sort.

Nah, I can earn that money without doing the wrong thing ;]

9. Do you enjoy singing at the top of your voice?

Yep!

10. What's your favourite food?

Brisbane January 2012

Bek, Jamie, Jord and me went to stay with our friends in Morayfield for 1o days this January.

3 of the 10 days we spent with our very own Hoggies! Drew and Madeleine came too. Here we are at midnight playing Mafia.

^ They have the absolute greatest scenery, it's identical to Lord of the Rings. I want to move there even more now! ^

Looking Back on 2011 (which was too long ago to remember ;)

The Best Book I Read:

Would have to have been the Harry Potter series... one out of the seven, I'd say no.3 - Prisoner of Azkaban.

The Worst Book I Read:

There were a lot! It comes with going to Uni ;] The ultimate worse though, Truman Capote's 'In Cold Blood'

The Best Movie I Saw:

Ooh, that's hard. The ultimate one I saw at the cinema was the final Harry Potter, but apart from the cinema - The Hurt Locker totally gripped me.

The Worst Movie I Saw:

Mum brought to light a few from the 80s that she liked, and most of them I really didn't like. The one that has stuck in my mind the most vividly (probably because I watched it right through) was 'Terms of Endearment'.

My Favourite Holiday:

BRISBANE!!!

Of 2011. I dunno, there weren't many. In fact there were so few that I don't think there were ANY. All of Brisbane was amazing.

Wow, seriously? I don't think I keep track of that sorta thing. Scoopy's in Bribie is pretty cool.

My Favourite New Thing:

My widdle iPad... he's so cute! (and pink, but oh well...)

Alice amazes me with each new post, so I'll just say her entire blog as opposed to a blog post =D

Favourite Song or Album:

I listen to a lot of music and a whole variety of genres (listing one song is out of the question - that's torture!) and even though I go through a lot of bands I think Anberlin 'Dark is the Way, Light is a Place' tops my ultimate.

Achievements You Have in Mind for 2012:

Not failing anything in my next semester of uni (what are the odds that that will happen?); catching up on the 10 week break I had from work (I forgot almost everything when I temporarily left due to the dislocated knee, and I've still not caught up).

~ And that is that =)

Today we got home from our family holiday at Maloney's Beach (awesome place) and tomorrow Jamie, Jord, Bek and myself leave for 10 days in Brisbane (more Bribie area and Tintenbar) so adios!
