I have nothing to update, nothing to say. I'm blogging for the sake of blogging. Do you ever get that?

There's more to everything we see, maybe less than some of us think.

And that was the other Weekend.

Yep, I had another weekend! Only this one wasn't photo-filled =( But the post semi-is =D

Let's see... my weekend started on Thursday.

-Thursday- I went on a study-strike, wrote the biggest email in history (and had an IMMENSE amount of fun doing it!) and made pink donuts. Pictured above. They were om-nommy!

-Friday- was also a study-strike-day. In fact, that went up until Sunday night. I did a shift at work and did Youthy at night. It was a bit of a stressful day, but it was a lovely one ^_^

-Saturday- me and Bek and Jamie went to a H/S picnic/sports day. Tell you now, that was a fun day! I saw my lady-friend (pictured above) for the first time in m.o.n.t.h.s. And that ^was the only snapping done that day =| But I caught up with several other friends, whom I love, and that's always so great =D

-Sunday- at night time on this day me and Bek attend a girl's Bible Study. The lady it's run by had a baby the day before, so we had a chick-flick night and saw the baby! That was a fun night =)

When I got home last night I studied. Ever so slightly, in prep for today, but it counts.

Sunday is the end of the weekend, so that's where my day-ticking will stop. But I have been on countless missions talking to friends and emailing and organizing a lot of exciting and also boring things! But for now, there is no more for me to say. My brain is sizzling after studying all day.

I've always loved Snoopy/Charlie Brown comics. But recently I've just been obsessed! =P

And that was the Weekend

On Friday night the Wilson family came to spend the weekend with us - Alistair, Carla and baby Anthea are a top family!

This is the first time I've seen Annie and I've claimed her as my own. Michael did too...

They stayed until Sunday morning. Bek, Jamie and me went to a family friends' church that morning to see Eric get baptized. It was an amazing day! Four baptisms took place and after the service (which was the coolest I've ever been to!) there was a lunch. One of the guys who got baptised had a friend down to witness it and we became her friend and she spent all day with us. We had a girly group going of about 6 of us and, being awesome, it was an awesome day! Lots of laughter, talking, guitar playing and singing happened.

We had a public holiday on Monday. Our Pom friend from Church became an Australian citizen so he held a typical Australian party - a BBQ.

It was just an afternoon of mingling and eating food that Australians are supposed to eat. Like pavlova and Australian-shaped Shapes.

For everyone praying for me and thinking of me as my presentation rolled up, thanks a whole heap!! I did outstandingly. And by that I mean it flowed well as a discussion and I wasn't nervous or self-conscious at all.

I've got a 15 minute presentation to give a class of 20-30 people tomorrow morning. Freaked out. Insecure. Nervous. And Emotional.

All week I was dying to reply to your comments in my new found medium. I found myself trying to create a story that I could blog about... but don't tell anyone I told you that.

This post is solely for your benefit. I do indeed have nothing to blog about.

But you wanna know what's with the photograph I took this afternoon?

Well. I opened a new stick of Hubba Bubba original bubblegum. And I love opening new things. It's an exciting process - there is nothing behind you, hence the opening of something new and the gain of something. Every time I open something new it reminds me of turning a new leaf. Putting your behind in your past... or putting your past behind ya.

I know that's probably looking into things too much, but that's really what I like to do. It's the writer in me coming out and analyzing baby-sized dealios. And having a strong urge to tell you about them =)

Anddd the coffee mug was full of coffee, with which my coldness was being filled with warmth.

It's been a miserable day today; bitterly cold! The fire is roaring and I'm eating ice-cream.

Wow, 5 comments - that's pretty good for an ordinary post! But you *have* got the wrong idea - I'm not doing this just for the sake of getting more comments! Although it definitely worked!

I am doing this because it is conversational. And conversations are my favorite. And you're my favorite and I love conversing with you. And now I have a cool way to converse! Mind-blowing, yeah?

Just a quickee

Hey =)

Today, we have had a sunny day! After so many rainy days, I'd sorta given up hope of seeing anything remotely Summery, weather wise, before winter fully struck; when I woke up this morning (five minutes before I had to leave for my lecture!) there, outside my windows, the green trees were shining golden and the wet grass was glistening.

By the time we had finished at uni there was a spring-like warmth and we drove home with the windows down and the radio pumping.

While reading on my bed this arvo, I accidentally fell asleep from the stuffy heat that was trapped into my bedroom.

And I woke up chilly.

After dinner tonight Jamie made a cup of Butterbeer! Wow, it was like butterscotch pudding in a mug; but without the pudding.

I'm leaving Facebook for a while, for my personal reasons and that, but it'll mean (maybe ;) more time for blogging, emails, Pinterest, reading, letter-writing (and study). I'm looking forward to a break from the big social media-ing =)

I'm gonna try this for a while, see how I like it =D
