Pinterest!

I have been introduced to eeet! ^ I've seen my sissa Jess use it and was in awe of the AMAZING pictures, but it depressed me then to see such beauty I could not imitate. But a friend recently raved about how much she loves it, so I looked into it; in my current state of mind the images do not depress me, but rather inspire. I am in love!

This one makes my heart heavy. It reminds me of the beautiful-est scene in Forest Gump, where as children Jenny says to Forest 'Pray with me, Forest.' and they get on their knees in the fields and she says 'God, please turn me into a bird so I can fly far - far, far away.'

But to add something happier, here is another Pin - of bright colors and coverse; nearly the best mix ever! =D

Free afternoon ^_^

Well, today was supposed to be uni-filled but having had a head cold with a dash of flu on the side (last night I came up with a swollen gland, which is grossing me out...) I ditched Bek and stayed home. Seriously, I feel like a non-uni-student. It's the completely best feeling!!

I made some scones this morning. They're topped with plum jam and whipped cream and are really quite scrumptious. (Side note: yesterday I made scrummy pink donuts!! Not as good as the ones Maccas produces, but still - mmm, mm!)

On Saturday night me, Bek and dad drove to Yass for friends' combined birthday parties. There were so many cameras getting whipped around all night that I left mine in the car until the end of the night. And then it was to get out just to snap a few of me and Bek and a few great friends whom we don't see very often. It was a real fun night!

Yesterday I wrote a 500 word story for the week 3 uni assignment (Creative Writing). It was much fun! I took the inspiration from an episode that happened to my friends' uncle, and I'm really pleased with the result.

With my photography blog 'MiSnapz' I think I'm slowly turning it into a writing blog... obviously most of my photography is inspired by lyrics I write or love, or stories or quotes or life-musings, so the blog will stay so themed. BUT I shall also (still considering this prospect...) share some of my writings on it. What say you?

~Brisbane is my very very favorite place to be ^_^

~I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. Saves and ruins lives =P

~I don't enjoy blogging all that much, but do it for two reasons: 1). I hate leaving my poor girl so lonely & 2). I love posting photos wherever I can.

~I trim my own hair. Big money saver!

~I've been doing uni (correspondence and now campus) since 2009

~This April will mark my first year with Koorong

~I've never done an exam before - but will be this year =O

~I love being behind a camera, but don't usually like being in front

~I don't like when people use the word 'hate'. It doesn't actually mean what you think it means, otherwise you wouldn't use it in that context. It's more powerful than you think
