Kitti

Kitti is our Au pair (live-in-nanny) from Hungary. Tomorrow will be a week since she arrived and she will be here for 5 months. Already she is part of our family, and we're all really glad to have her here!

(all photos, except as marked, were taken by Jess)

She spends a lot of time watching Michael, which they both love.

(I know this photo isn't of Kitti, but I couldn't help sharing it. This is the way Michael stands when he is idle or thoughtful - rather adorable, don't you think?)

Jess has taken Kitti sight-seeing to a few places such as Parliament House and Floriade. Oh, and Kitti saw her first ever kangaroo at our place. She was so excited!

Kitti is so helpful - She loves cleaning and helping make dinner. Her English isn't perfect, but it is enough to hold a conversation quite well; she has even taught the children a few Hungarian words.
Because it is the holidays Jess, Bek and I are helping out at our church's 'Kids Holiday Club' which goes for three days (today, tomorrow and Thursday) and Rob, Dan and Lily are coming along to it, so Kitti helps Mum with just Michael for the three days.
Well, that's all for now folks!

Tulip Farm

Nana is here for a visit, and a few days ago Jess, Bek, Nana, Lily and I spent the afternoon at the Tulip Farm (now known as The Tulip Top Gardens).
It was a lovely time of day to go - the sun's heat was just right. Also, I was able to de-rustify my photography, which I have been neglecting as of late =/

Concerning Blogging and Businesses

My friend Alice has just set up a blog for her sewing business. (It is private, so only invited people can look). I helped her set it up on Wednesday and Thursday, and today some pictures of her products have been put up. I'm so excited about it, even though it's not my blog =P I love fresh blogs, but looking at Alice's sewing is even better =)

And speaking of Alice and businesses, Alice told me of her friend Bethany who makes soaps and other products like that and sells them HERE. I've spent so much time just looking at everything on there - it's an amazing site, and the soaps especially look so delectable!!

~ Wicked Fun ~

On Saturday we four girls went to see 'Wicked' in Sydney. Mum drove us up and we took Nadia back home, after she spent all Friday with us.

The road trip.

Before seeing the show we met up with Xenia....

.... and we got rather lost, wandering in and out of plazas that weren't even near where we wanted to be!

I was so excited to see the posters everywhere and the title standing out!

The stage, before the show began.
'Wicked' was absolutely a.m.a.z.i.n.g!! To our complete delight there was a cancellation, so Xenia was able to see it with us! I had butterflies during the entire show because it was so beautiful ~ totally worth it!!! We bought the CD of the original cast and I got an awesome T-shirt, which has my favourite song on it ~ I love it so much! (Defying Gravity)

Telling a dramatic story before saying goodbye.
