It has ended....

...And they're home again, after a whole six weeks of visiting Europe.

(Michael and Lily have sorely missed them, hence the 'group' photo!)

We're glad they're back =)

Les filles visitent l'Europe

These are the postcards we've received from the girls while they've been over-seas.

Karli posted back a heap of books she had bought in Wales as well as pictures that were taken of her and Jess at Madame Tussauds. They were really awesome!

Chatting with them while they were in Ireland, via Skype.
We bought a French tablecloth....

... and French coffee!!
They're in Paris now and in eight days they'll be home!!! I'm so excited =)

Sonnet

Books

Shelves and shelves are filled
with books by many authors and of many titles
The musty smell makes my senses build
as I roam through the large aisles

With many choices I stand bewildered
thinking which section to look through
the times seems never to be ended
I pick a book from within to peruse

I curl into a couch
then open the book I have chosen
the pages are smooth to touch
the story predicted is proven

I leave the real world to enter a fake
this is a journey I have longed to take.

First day in Sydney

Setting the course.

Today the first 'exciting' thing I did was just that ^^

We've hired a GPS and it's amazing! Sydney is a lunatic place when it comes to cars, parking, and narrow roads... we're not used to such traffic but are doing well, considering. =)

^^ for dinner.

We did go to the hospital, but I wasn't able to take any pictures - I didn't have the camera handy. Zach cheered up a little at seeing the children, and Nadia and Lily had a great time playing in their fairy costumes. =)

More next time....

Hurry, hurry, hurry...

Very quickly posting; I know I only just did an update, but I have a bit of an excuse =)

To begin with....

1). Toy Story 3 was excellent! A few of us went with Mum to see it on Saturday and in my opinion it was almost as good as the first Toy Story... which means it was very, very good!!

2). Tomorrow we are all (except for Dad) going to Sydney for five days; we will be staying at our friend's house while they are away. We are finishing off the cleaning and packing right now, which is why this is only short!

3). Yesterday I got the final mark for the 'Human Health' course I started in SP 1. I got a distinction, which I couldn't be happier with considering biology isn't my favourite topic!

Fortunately, that's all I have to report. I'll 'see' you next week!
