Our house... in the middle of our street

Our house is full of busy people - busy people and busy times.

This month has been particularly busy for our family. I think I have posted enough to keep you up-dated with the social things we have had on, but there are a few little extra things you may want to know.

At the moment, I am studying two OUA courses online. I have two assignments due before the 10th of May - they are keeping me very busy!
The first course I started was Academic Literacy Skills; I have one year to complete it. I have finished the rough draft for the second assignment, and now I just need Karli's time to help me finalise it. The other course is Human Health and it goes for thirteen weeks; for that course I have finished the draft for the second and final assignment.

These courses continue through school holidays; I don't mind though, because this sort of study is fun =)

Besides keeping busy with my courses, I also have flute lessons on Fridays. They are going very well and with each new lesson I love it more! The week before school holidays I was given my first Pop song to learn - when I play it during my lesson, Donna (my teacher) plays the harmony and it sounds so beautiful!

This is just 'cause Michael is beautiful.

I'd be very interested to know what sort of things you've been up to!

Little 'n' Lovely Holiday

In the previous post I made mention of four girl-friends.... They came down from Bowral and Bundanoon to visit the Art Gallery and stayed for Sam's party, leaving the next day. And we went with them. Mrs. vD had the idea of us spending all day Friday and the beginning of Saturday with them, just to catch up. So, we caught the train and had a little holiday =)

Beth (far left at the back) and Madd (checkered blue top) are from Bundanoon. We stayed with Maddy (red top) and Lara's (in the front, middle) family in Bowral.

Sam's Party

Sam is now 20. The day after his birthday he held a party; me, my three sisters and four girl-friends were a few of the people that attended.

Last Day

Yesterday was our last day with the Hoggies, so we did a few exciting things; such as visiting the old Parliament house:

Sadly, they left today. And we can't wait to see them again!

Picnic

The Happy Hoggies (see post below) wanted to meet our friends while they were in Canberra; a picnic was thrown together and very much enjoyed!
